these fools learn the power of friendship by being stuck in confined areas with each other while plotting their escape outta the "we like to play god" facility

oliver's a shapeshifting alien escapee from his homeplanet, mae got converted into cyborgism against her will and josh's parents hate him and left him at the facility under the guise of it being "rehabilitation for troubled youth"
